The Tour begins and ends in Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi on Nov 16th. The next day is a free day to explore Hanoi. On the 18th we depart for Mai Chau.

Towads the conclusion of the tour, we arrive in Sapa on the 24th and have the 25th free before taking the overnite train to Hanoi on the evening of the 26th. Therefore we have 1 and 1/2 days or a little more to explore Sapa. We catch the train in Lai Cau on the Chinese border. Lai Cau is a short distance from Sapa.

The overnite train arrives in Hanoi early on the morning of the 27th. Therefore, the day of the 27th is another day to explore Hanoi. Depart Hanoi on the 28th.
