Happy New Year! The end of 2006 marks our four-year
anniversary. 2006 has been our most active year
ever. It has been a pleasure to travel with
so many great people, visit interesting places
and to view the world from a bike.
Our goal is to offer high-quality,
reasonably priced tours to the world's best cycling
destinations.
NEW - The Canadian Rockies

"Ride the Divide"
This will be F&A's first ever tour in North America.
It starts in Kananaskis and continues North to
Jasper thru Banff National Park. The route takes
you by some 100 glaciers; many visible from the road.
Most of the riding is in valleys so you can
see big time mountains without actually having to
climb them. That's not the case on any or our other
tours. The tour is 7 nites and priced at $1550, double
occupancy.

"The Tonkinese Alps"
Our route takes us through the Hoang Lien Son mountains,
which the
French dubbed The Tonkinese Alps. This area is
renown for colorful
hilltribe people. There are over 50 minority
groups; each with their own unique dress, customs,
and often, language.
The tour is 11 nites and priced at $1350
Extensions can easily be made afterwards for Hoi An,
Halong Bay and other interesting destinations in
Vietnam and elsewhere.

It's not about the bike....
Yes, we had a time in Laos. This was the fourth
annual tour. The group: Two Canadians, one
Australian and nine Americans; three women, nine
men; two second time participants.....
It's impossible to capture all that went on, but you
can at least get a sense of it....
