Fly to Calgary (airport code YYC). Sidestep is a useful travel search engine for resarching flights. Several domestic carriers fly to Calgary. Please be aware that most do charge for full size bicycles brought as baggage (e.g., NWA charges $80 each way).
Getting to Delta Lodge
Driving
The nearest airport to the Delta Lodge at Kananskis is Calgary International Airport. Driving time from Calgary International Airport to the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
From the airport head south on Barlow Trail and take 16 th Avenue West, which becomes the Trans Canada Highway (Highway #1) for approximately 40 minutes until you reach the Kananaskis Trail (Highway #40 South). Continue on Highway #40 South for approximately 20 minutes, to the Kananaskis Village/Nakiska Road and turn right. After approximately 1 km, turn left and proceed up the hill to the Kananaskis Village.
Call 403-221-8255. The bus does not come to Kananaskis directly. Guests may catch the bus to Banff from the airport, and the Delta Lodge at Kananskis van will meet the bus at the Highway #1 / Highway 40 turn off.
Guests need to let the bus driver know they are going to Kananaskis. The bus driver will call the Lodge to let the bell-desk know when to meet the bus. This Bus currently leaves the airport at 6:30 pm daily and the cost is $42.00.
Alpine Limousine

Ambassador Limousine Service

Return to Calgary
The tour ends in Jasper. Return to Calgary can be arranged for approximately USD $100 per person.
Depending on the number of participants, the return to Calgary can either be via a private van/chartered bus or the the daily Brewster Bus from Jasper to Calgary. In Calgary, the Brewster bus stops at the Airport as will as several nearby hotels. The Brewster bus departs Jasper at 1:30PM.
