There is no rhyme or reason as to which destinations we choose to tackle next as far as our bike jerseys go.   I thought the next would be Corsica.  The Corsica Moor’s head would be easy enough to do and there aren’t any nice Corsica jerseys around.  However, by special request,  I’m working on Sikkim.  Few people have even heard of Sikkim, much less considered acquiring a Sikkim themed cycling jersey (let’s hope some folks consider biking there since I just set up a tour!). Anyway, the designs usually change  (often more than once) before they are finalized, but this is the latest and greatest for Sikkim:

Don’t hold back on giving your two cents and don’t hold your breath on what they final turns out to be.  I have been told before that it’s a “do-over”.

Slowly, but surely we are knocking them off.  The thought is to have a Far and Away Jersey for every destination.  It sounds simple, but it isn’t all that easy to come up with the goods.  So far we have Spain, Laos and India.  Croatia is next.  I have a prototype.  Let me know what you think.

One thing I have learned in doing this is that there are plenty of different opinions.

On this version, two of the towns we stop in are featured.  Motovun is on the back and Vrbnik is on the front.  You’ve been there and don’t recognize it?  Well, you will just have to go back.  The little flower is the Iris, the national flower.  I thought about using a truffle….but an underground fungus on a jersey?….gross!  We’ll stick to eating them.
